POETRY 

I noodled around with poetry writing for years before I got serious. But in about 1996 we moved to Boise in Idaho and I came across a sweet little building near the University called the Log Cabin where a local poet was offering classes. I went along with all the teenagers and it set me on a journey that lasted for about 15 years. I joined a local writing group here in NZ when we moved back in 2001 and concentrated further on this means of expression. I had many poems published but never a full collection. Suddenly, in about 2012, I stopped writing. That seems to have been it for poetry.
